How to design the refractory structure of the melting part of the float glass melting furnace?

① The pool bottom bricks are made of large clay bricks, arranged in vertical and horizontal straight seams. The thickness is generally 300mm. There is one expansion joint at intervals of about 4m in the length of the kiln. It can also be evenly distributed. The width of the kiln is evenly distributed and the expansion joints are arranged. 5‰ consideration.

② The supporting bricks under the pool bottom bricks are made of low-porosity clay bricks, and the width of the bricks should not be less than 150mm. The insulating material filled between the bricks can be aluminum silicate fiber felt and non-asbestos calcium silicate board.

③Paving tiles at the bottom of the pool are generally made of fused-cast 33# zirconium corundum bricks, or sintered zirconium mullite bricks can be used before or all of the hot spots in the melting zone. The paving tiles should generally be arranged staggered, and the length direction should be concentrated in the expansion joints of the large bricks at the bottom Keep seams, the size of expansion joints is considered 6‰~7‰, and the width direction is concentrated on both sides.

④ The ramming material layer at the bottom of the pool is made of zircon ramming material or zirconium corundum ramming material, with a compression ratio of 1:2.4, and the surface after ramming should have a strength of 6.5kg/cm2.

⑤ The pool wall bricks of the melting part should be erected with a whole brick to minimize the transverse joints of the pool wall. According to the required kiln age and material, 33#, 36# or 41# oxidation method quasi-shrinkage-free casting or inclined casting fused cast zirconium corundum bricks can be selected. The corner bricks should use 41# oxidation method non-shrinkage casting fused cast zirconium corundum bricks. Zirconium ramming material can be used to seal the outside of the pool wall bricks, or not. It can be insulated with clay bricks or high alumina bricks and non-asbestos calcium silicate boards.

⑥ Hook the brick.

The nozzle hook brick of the small furnace should adopt 33# oxidation method non-shrinkage casting fused cast zirconium corundum brick.

The hook bricks of the breast wall in the melting zone should adopt 33# oxidation method ordinary casting and casting zirconia corundum bricks.

High-quality silica bricks can be used for the hook bricks under the breast wall of the clarification area.

Expansion joints should be left between the hook bricks to prevent cracking, 1.5mm expansion joints should be left between the fused cast zirconium corundum bricks, and expansion joints should be kept concentrated between the silica bricks and the hook bricks.

⑦ Breast wall.

The breast wall of the melting zone adopts 33# oxidation method ordinary casting and casting zirconia corundum bricks, and the light clay bricks and non-asbestos calcium silicate boards are attached for heat preservation.

High-quality silica bricks can be used for the breast wall of the clarification area.

The vertical brick joints of the breast wall in the melting zone should be designed as a curved seal structure, and the breast wall in the clarification zone adopts the form of concentrated joints with staggered joints inside and outside.

⑧ High-quality silica bricks should be used for the large turret of the melting part. The height of the turret is related to the span of the turret, generally 400~500mm. The length direction should be able to adjust the length of each turret appropriately to reduce the brick type of the turret. Sealing material should be used for the heat preservation of the roof top, then light silica brick and plastic heat preservation material should be added.

⑨ Except for the TV hole brick using sintered zircon stone brick, the gable wall behind the melting part is made of high-quality silica brick, and 25mm thick non-asbestos calcium silicate board can also be added for heat preservation.

⑩ For the front gable wall of the melting part, according to the width of the kiln, an L-shaped hanging wall or a traditional front wall structure supported by independent stilts is selected. The lower part of the wing wall on both sides of the L-shaped hanging wall adopts 33# oxidation method ordinary casting and sintering of zirconium corundum bricks and sintering Zirconium mullite bricks, high-quality silica bricks can be used on the upper part.
