Sillimanite brick is a high-grade refractory material, which has the characteristics of low thermal expansion rate, good resistance to metallurgical slag and to corrosion of various glass liquids, and high temperature wear resistance. Sillimanite refractory bricks have the Refractoriness of 1770 ~ 1830 ℃, load softening starting point 1500 ~ 1650 ℃. Sillimanite bricks are widely used in feeder channels, feeder covers, burners, melting bottom paving of glass furnaces and other applications.
Since sillimanite refractories have good high-temperature thermal stability, are resistant to corrosion of glass liquid, and have little pollution to glass liquid, they are mostly suitable for equipment such as forehearths, feeders, and pipe-drawing machines in the glass industry, which can significantly improve productivity.
