Silicon carbide plate is made of silicon carbide (SiC) as the main raw material through a special process. It has extremely high hardness, with a Mohs hardness of about 9.5, second only to diamond, which makes it extremely wear-resistant and can withstand frequent friction and impact of materials in the kiln. Its thermal conductivity is very excellent, and its thermal conductivity is much higher than that of general kiln furniture materials. It can quickly transfer heat, make the temperature in the kiln uniform, and greatly improve the firing efficiency. In addition, the refractoriness of silicon carbide plate is extremely high, and it can withstand high temperatures exceeding 1600℃. It can still maintain good structural stability and mechanical properties at high temperatures, and is not easy to deform or damage.

Application

Steel industry: In steel heating furnaces and soaking furnaces, silicon carbide plates are often used as furnace bottom support materials. It can withstand the heavy pressure of high-temperature steel billets and the friction caused by frequent loading and unloading, ensure the flatness and stability of the furnace bottom, and extend the service life of the furnace body.

Ceramic industry: As the kiln tools such as the shelf and push plate of ceramic kilns, silicon carbide plates can provide stable support for ceramic products at high temperatures, help ceramics to be heated evenly, reduce product deformation and defects, and improve the quality and output of ceramic products.

Non-ferrous metal smelting: In the smelting furnaces of non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum, silicon carbide plates can be used for linings, flame baffles and other parts. It can resist the erosion of high-temperature melts and furnace gases, and its good thermal conductivity helps to improve smelting efficiency.
