Magnesia-carbon bricks are made of high-melting alkaline oxide-magnesium oxide (melting point 2800℃) and high-melting carbon materials that are difficult to be infiltrated by slag, and some non-oxide additives will be added during the production. As a composite refractory material, magnesia carbon bricks effectively utilize the strong slag corrosion resistance of magnesia and the high thermal conductivity and low expansion of carbon, which compensates for the shortcomings of poor spalling resistance of magnesia.
Scope of application:
• Magnesia-carbon bricks are mainly used for the lining of converters, AC electric arc furnaces, and DC electric arc furnaces, and the slag line of ladle.
Advantage:
• High tempreture resistance
• Strong slag resistance
• Good thermal shock resistance
• Low creep under high tempreture
There are 18 specifications from MT4 to MT 16 grades maganesia carbon bricks, please kindly Contact us for sending you all the datasheets. You can also send your specificaiton to us.
As a professinal refractory bricks manufactuer, we can also produce other magnesia series refractory bricks, such as magnesia alumina carbon brick, magnesia alumina spinel brick, alumina magnesia bricks and etc. Except for those bricks,We can also produce sliding plate and sliding gate nozzle for steel ladle.
