Magnesia Brick
Magnesite brick basic refractory materials with magnesite magnesite as the main crystalline phase and magnesite magnesite with magnesite content of 90% or more. Generally, it can be divided into two categories: sintered magnesia brick (also known as fired magnesia brick) and chemically combined magnesia brick (also known as unfired magnesia brick).
The magnesia brick with high purity and firing temperature is called directly bound magnesia brick due to direct contact with magnesite grains; The brick made of fused magnesia is called fused magnesia brick.
Magnesia brick has high refractoriness, good resistance to alkaline slag, high temperature at the beginning of softening under load, but poor resistance to thermal shock. The sintered magnesia brick is made of magnesia brick. After crushing, batching, mixing and forming, the sintered magnesia brick is fired at a high temperature of 1550 ~ 1600℃. The firing temperature of high purity products is above 1750℃.
Unpoured magnesia brick is made by mixing, forming and drying with appropriate chemical binder in magnesia.
It is mainly used for steelmaking basic open hearth furnace, furnace bottom and wall of electric furnace, permanent lining of oxygen converter, non-ferrous metal smelting furnace, high-temperature tunnel kiln, lining of calcined magnesia brick and cement rotary kiln, furnace bottom and wall of heating furnace, grid brick of glass kiln regenerator, etc.
