Product detail
Alumina ceramic tiles
Product Introduction
High Hardness: Alumina ceramic tiles have extremely high hardness, with a Mohs hardness of 8-9, second only to diamond, which makes them have excellent wear resistance and can effectively resist various frictions and scratches. They are suitable for occasions with high requirements for wear resistance.
High Strength: They have high compressive strength and flexural strength, can withstand greater pressure and external force impact, are not easy to break or damage, and can maintain stable performance in harsh working environments.
High Temperature Resistance: They have good high temperature resistance and can be used for a long time in high temperature environments. They can withstand temperatures of 1600℃ or even higher, and can still maintain their mechanical properties and chemical stability at high temperatures. They can be used in high temperature industrial fields.
Chemical Stability: They have strong corrosion resistance to chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, and salts, can remain stable in various chemical environments, are not easily corroded and eroded, and are suitable for occasions in industries such as chemical and electronics that need to resist chemical corrosion.
Insulation Performance: Alumina ceramic tiles are an excellent electrical insulation material with high resistivity and low dielectric loss. They can effectively prevent current from passing through and can be used for insulating components in the electronic and electrical fields.
Application fields
Industrial wear-resistant field: widely used in material conveying systems in metallurgy, mining, power and other industries, such as linings of chutes, hoppers, pipelines, etc., which can effectively reduce the wear of materials on equipment and increase the service life of equipment.
Electronic and electrical fields: used to manufacture substrates, packaging shells, insulating brackets, etc. of electronic components, using its good insulation properties and chemical stability to ensure the stable operation of electronic equipment.
Chemical field: as the lining or coating of chemical reactors, towers, pipelines and other equipment, it can resist the corrosion of various chemical media and ensure the safety and stability of chemical production.
Aerospace field: due to its high hardness, high strength and high temperature resistance, it can be used to manufacture parts of aircraft engines, thermal insulation parts of spacecraft, etc.
Biomedical field: It also has certain applications in the biomedical field, such as making biomedical implants such as artificial joints and teeth, using its good biocompatibility and mechanical properties to provide patients with better treatment effects.
Product Parameters
Ingredients | Content range |
Al₂O₃ | Usually between 90% – 99.9%. The Al₂O₃ content in 95% alumina ceramic tiles is about 95%, and the rest is a small amount of impurities such as flux; the Al₂O₃ content in 99% alumina ceramic tiles is as high as 99% or more |
Flux (such as SiO₂, TiO₂, CaO, etc.) | Generally around 0.1% – 5%. The purpose of adding flux is to reduce the sintering temperature and improve the sintering performance and mechanical properties of ceramics |
Other additives (such as MgO, ZrO₂, etc.) | The content is usually around 0 – 3%. These additives can further improve the performance of ceramics. For example, adding MgO can inhibit the growth of alumina grains and improve the density and mechanical properties of ceramics; adding ZrO₂ can improve the toughness of ceramics. |
